Saudi Border Guard, Special Forces for Security & Protection Took Part in Intersec Saudi Arabia

The General Directorate of Border Guard participated in this year’s Intersec Saudi Arabia (photo), organized by the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the High Commission for Industrial Security.

The Directorate showcased the latest technologies and equipment in border security, such as search and rescue devices, underwater photography, marksmanship, and surveillance and reconnaissance vehicles, and highlight the Directorate’s efforts to protect the Kingdom’s borders, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Further, the Saudi Special Forces for Security and Protection also participated in  Intersec Saudi Arabia, showcasing vehicles and technologies used to improve security and safety, efforts to safeguard safety and security, and the nature of their work and responsibilities.

Organised by 1st Arabia and licensed by Messe Frankfurt, Intersec Saudi Arabia was held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) from 1-3 October.

H.E. Aali M. Al Zahrani, Governor of the Higher Commission for Industrial Security and Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, General Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense, have officially opened the sixth edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s leading trade fair for security, safety, and fire protection.

Critical topics addressed during the event included AI in security, cybersecurity risks, green technologies for fire prevention, emergency response strategies, and safeguarding critical infrastructure
