Joint Egyptian-Turkish Air Exercise Concludes in the Arab Republic of Egypt

The activities of the joint Egyptian-Turkish air exercise concluded last week after being conducted over several days, with the participation of elements from the Egyptian Air Force and the Turkish Air Force across a number of air bases in the Egypt.

The exercise included the execution of a series of training activities and joint aerial sorties, involving a selection of the latest multi-role fighter aircraft operated by both sides. These activities reflected the high level of operational proficiency attained by the participating forces, while also facilitating the exchange of training and tactical expertise in planning, execution, and command-and-control procedures.

Such exercises are conducted within the framework of strengthening military relations and enhancing joint cooperation between the air forces of the Egyptian Armed Forces and their counterparts from brotherly and friendly nations, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

In another development, the Egyptian Military Academy organized the graduation ceremony for the consolidated training course of candidates nominated for appointment to the Ministries of Transport, Water Resources and Irrigation, Environment, Investment and Foreign Trade, as well as the National Center for State Land Use Planning, following the completion of their qualification period at the Academy.

The ceremony commenced with the presentation and discussion of the course graduation research, which reflected the advanced academic standards attained by the graduates throughout their period of study at the Academy. This was followed by a review of the trainees’ training status and the screening of a documentary highlighting the various phases of the course.

The senior course representative delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Egyptian Armed Forces for conducting such training programs, which contributed to enhancing their professional awareness and broadening their knowledge, thereby enabling them to serve the nation effectively across the various fields to which they will be assigned.

For his part, Dr. Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, emphasized during his address the importance of maintaining continuous coordination with the Armed Forces in implementing these courses, given their vital role in preparing and qualifying highly capable scientific cadres with the competence to perform their duties with dedication, sincerity, and a strong sense of national responsibility across diverse specializations.

Major General Mohamed Salah El-Turki, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, also delivered a speech in which he extended his congratulations to the graduates and wished them success in their professional careers. He underscored that the Academy is dedicating all its capabilities and resources to preparing new generations capable of serving the nation across various sectors of the state. The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the top-performing graduates.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Ihab El-Fayoumi, Assistant Minister of Defense; Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade; the Director of the National Center for State Land Use Planning; a number of senior officials from the Egyptian Military Academy; and representatives from the Ministries of Transport and Environment.
