Egyptian Defense Minister Meets Various Officers from the Main Branches

Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with a number of officers and non-commissioned officers from the main branches of the Armed Forces at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, commanders of the main branches, and a number of senior Armed Forces leaders, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the personnel. He also reviewed a number of ongoing developments at the international and regional levels related to Egyptian national security.

Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher emphasized that maintaining combat readiness and a constant state of preparedness remains the true guarantee for achieving security and stability, particularly in light of the challenges and developments facing the region.

He further urged personnel to preserve weapons and equipment, and to continuously enhance the professional and physical proficiency of the individual soldier, ensuring that the Armed Forces remain at the highest level of readiness to execute any assigned mission under all conditions.
