Egyptian Armed Forces Organize Visit to Al-Galaa Military Medical Complex for African Ambassadors

In cooperation with the African Dream Foundation, the Egyptian Armed Forces organized a visit for a delegation of African ambassadors to Al-Galaa Military Medical Complex, with the aim of showcasing the advanced medical capabilities available within the facility.

The visit began with a documentary presentation highlighting the pivotal role of the complex in delivering high-quality medical services to both military personnel and civilians alike. The Al-Galaa Military Medical Complex is regarded as one of the Armed Forces’ leading medical institutions, owing to its distinguished cadre of physicians and nursing staff, as well as its state-of-the-art medical equipment and technologies across all specialties.

Major General Dr. Reda El-Hemeimy, Director of the Al-Galaa Medical Complex, delivered a speech emphasizing that the visit aligns with the directives of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to promote Egypt’s medical tourism sector and to introduce international partners to the high-level medical services provided by the complex.

He also affirmed the strong and historic ties that connect Egypt with all African nations in various areas of cooperation, the Egyptian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

The delegation toured several departments within the complex to witness firsthand the medical procedures and healthcare systems implemented in accordance with global standards.

At the conclusion of the visit, the African Ambassadors expressed their deep appreciation for the efforts of the Egyptian Armed Forces across multiple sectors. They commended the exceptional standards and esteemed status of the Armed Forces’ medical institutions, which reflect a forward-looking vision and a commitment to staying abreast of rapid scientific and medical advancements.

Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies Signs a Cooperation Protocol with the Supreme Council of Universities

In another development, as part of the Egyptian Armed Forces’ commitment to exchanging scientific expertise and supporting research activities with various civilian institutions, Major General Atef Abdelraouf Mahmoud, Commandant of the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies, signed a cooperation protocol with Professor Dr. Mostafa Refaat Ahmed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities.

The protocol aims to leverage the expertise of the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies in numerous fields, particularly in strategic studies, national security, and crisis management. This will be achieved through the organization of seminars, lectures, and conferences conducted by a distinguished group of the Academy’s experts.

The protocol also includes provisions for the exchange of expertise in various areas of knowledge and scientific research, as well as granting access to the scientific libraries’ resources for students and researchers from both institutions on topics of mutual interest.
