In line with the Egyptian Armed Forces’ continued efforts to enhance the efficiency and readiness of its personnel, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, conducted an inspection visit to the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute.

The visit reflects the General Command’s commitment to strengthening human resources and qualifying combat-ready personnel capable of facing current and future challenges to the Egyptian state.

The visit commenced with Lieutenant General Khalifa participating alongside students in physical activities and exercises. He also toured several upgraded training fields, where he observed firsthand the high level of physical fitness and discipline demonstrated by the students, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Following the activities, the Chief of Staff joined members of the teaching staff and students for breakfast. He was then briefed by Major General Ayman Amin El-Gendy, Commandant of the Institute, who presented recent developments and modernization efforts in the training and educational systems. These initiatives aim to raise the academic and practical proficiency of the students and align training methods with contemporary military needs.

Lieutenant General Khalifa held an open dialogue with faculty members, during which he listened to their views and responded to questions concerning various military and strategic matters. He emphasized the importance of continued professional development, mastery of foreign languages, and maintenance of physical fitness—all of which are vital for shaping a generation of soldiers equipped with knowledge, skill, and a deep commitment to protecting the homeland.

The Chief of Staff then toured several educational wings and specialized training facilities outfitted with the latest training technologies. He also visited accommodation quarters and the institute’s hospital to assess administrative standards and ensure that welfare and morale remain high across all levels.

At the conclusion of the tour, Lieutenant General Khalifa met with officers, students, and soldiers of the institute. He conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who continues to closely follow the training and morale status of the Armed Forces. He also delivered a message of recognition and pride from General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, praising the dedication and effort demonstrated by the students.

Lieutenant General Khalifa reiterated the Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to providing the resources necessary for the preparation and qualification of combatants capable of fulfilling their national duties, no matter the sacrifices required. He listened to student inquiries on a range of domestic, regional, and international issues and urged them to continue striving for excellence in training and learning. He emphasized that graduates of the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute represent the backbone of the Armed Forces—a source of strength and continuity—through their example of discipline, dedication, and outstanding performance.
