Bahrain’s Interior Minister General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received in Manama the President of Naif Arab Unversity for Security Sciences, Dr. Abdulmajeed bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan and General Secretary of the Training Council of the University, Dr Khalid Abdulaziz Al Harfash. The Chief of Bahrain’s Public Security attended the meeting.
The Minister welcomed the guests, hailing the strings ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the training system was a priority of the Interior Ministry. He affirmed the importance of cooperation and coordination with specialized universities and education institutions.
He valued the scientific and the cultural role of the Naif University in conducting security research and studies and the drafting of scientific reports, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The President of the University expressed thanks and appreciation to the support of the ministry to studies and research organizations. He wished Bahrain progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by Commander of the Royal Academy of Police and Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training.
Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) is a unique educational institution in the Arab world and is situated in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
