His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain’s National Guard, received Tuesday the Director-General of the Pakistan Border Works Organisation (BWO).
HH General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa highlighted the ties between Bahrain and Pakistan. His Highness underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on military and defence affairs.
HH General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa praised the growing partnership between the National Guard and the Pakistani Armed Forces, noting the tangible progress made through joint training initiatives and the effective exchange of expertise between both sides.
The meeting explored ways to deepen coordination and expand areas of collaboration, in line with the shared commitment to advancing strategic ties, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Earlier, Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Bahrain’s Public Security and Chairman of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, received Sunday a security delegation from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The meeting was attended by Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, along with Senior Officers from the Public Security Presidency.
The Chief of Public Security commended the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan and the advanced cooperation between the two countries in the security sector.
The two sides also reviewed areas of security cooperation and discussed topics of mutual interest.
In another developments, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received Tuesday the newly appointed Military Attaché at the US Embassy in Bahrain Colonel Dear Beloved.
Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, was present.
Lt. General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and their continuous development across various domains. His Highness welcomed the newly appointed US Military Attaché, and wished him success in his new duties. The meeting also reviewed bilateral cooperation and mutual interests.
For his part, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs, also received Tuesday Colonel Wang Tao, Military Attaché at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bahrain.
The Minister commended the strong relations and ongoing cooperation between the two sides.
