His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince of Bahrain, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, visited Sunday the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
His Royal Highness was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the advanced capabilities of the Bahrain Defence Force are a testament to the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of its personnel. Their steadfast commitment to fulfilling their duties to the highest standards reflects the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and contributes significantly to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
During the visit, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister conveyed the appreciation and gratitude of His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to all Bahrain Defence Force personnel for their exceptional service and high level of readiness in addressing regional challenges and developments.
His Royal Highness noted that these efforts align with the Kingdom’s proactive approach and measures to enhance civil protection and public safety, thereby safeguarding Bahrain's security.
His Royal Highness also commended the strong national spirit and deep sense of responsibility demonstrated by BDF personnel in confronting challenges, reiterating that their unwavering dedication and selfless service embodies the highest standards of patriotism in preserving the Kingdom’s security and stability.
His Royal Highness also highlighted the vital role of the Bahrain Defence Force, alongside the armed forces of allied nations, in strengthening regional security and stability. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all members of the BDF, wishing them continued success in achieving their objectives and upholding the Kingdom’s national interests.
His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, were also present.
In another development, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), paid an inspection visit to one of the Bahrain Defence Force units on Sunday.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasised the BDF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its military capabilities and systems in line with modern defence strategies. He highlighted the continued progress made under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the unwavering support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
The Commander-in-Chief expressed pride in the BDF’s advanced level of combat, administrative readiness, and dedication to serving the Kingdom.
