Qatari Amiri Naval Forces Celebrate Officers’ Graduation

Under the patronage of Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces HE Major-General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai and in the presence of Commander of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces HE Rear Admiral (Navy) Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti, the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces celebrated the graduation of officer courses for the training year 2026.

Several officers from the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces and the General Directorate of Coast and Border Security participated in the courses held at the Naval Forces School in Umm Al Houl Naval Base to enhance professional competence and elevate readiness levels to support the military operational system.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Commander of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces distributed certificates to the graduates.

The ceremony was attended by several Senior Officers from the Qatari Armed Forces, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

In another development, Qatar and Pakistan discussed in Doha bilateral security cooperation during talks between Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of Pakistan Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

The two Ministers explored ways to further boost bilateral relations between the two nations in the security sector and discussed several issues of shared concern.

Meantime, Qatar and Jordan discussed bilateral relations and the latest regional developments during a phone call between their top diplomats.

During a conversation on Tuesday, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ayman Safadi explored ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

They also discussed diplomatic initiatives and joint coordination to contain tensions and promote security and stability across the region.

HE Sheikh Mohammed stressed the need for all parties to adhere to diplomacy and implement the commitments outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and Iran.

He said this includes ensuring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to help safeguard regional security and preserve recent diplomatic gains.

He also reaffirmed Doha’s support for efforts to ease tensions and reach a comprehensive agreement that would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
