Lebanese Defense Minister Major General Michel Menassa on Tuesday visited the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense’s supply and logistics authority as part of an official trip to the country.
He was received by Deputy Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics of Kuwait Armed Forces Major General Salah Al-Azmi, who said the visit reflects strong bilateral ties and a shared interest in expanding military cooperation and exchanging expertise, especially in supply and logistics, the Ministry said in a press statement.
Menassa was briefed on the authority’s mandate to support army units and toured its facilities to review capabilities, equipment and infrastructure, the statement noted, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The Lebanese Minister was accompanied by Lebanese Chargé d’Affaires Mia Al-Adham, Commander of the Signal Corps Lt General Saud Al-Dhafiri and several Senior Army Officers.
