The General Staff of Kuwait’s Army recently announced the official launch of an electronic fingerprint system, in a move aimed at developing the work environment and enhancing administrative performance.
In a press statement, the General Staff said Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was the first to register his fingerprint, marking the system’s formal activation (photo), Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Major General Sabah Al-Jaber affirmed that the initiative is part of the military institution’s broader plans to strengthen job discipline and improve human resources management - efforts that he said will positively impact performance quality and ensure sustainable administrative development.
He added that the new system will help regulate attendance and departure procedures with greater accuracy and transparency, while facilitating administrative follow-up to support workflow and maintain operational efficiency.
