At the invitation of Major-Brigadier Rui Chagas Mesquita, Secretary of Brazilian Defense Products, General CHANEGRIHA Saïd, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (PNA), began an official visit, starting Monday 10th April 2023, to the Federative Republic of Brazil.

As representative of the President of the Algerian Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, General CHANEGRIHA is taking part in the 13th Edition of the Defense and Security Exhibition (LAAD-2023), organized in Rio De Janeiro from 11th to 14th April 2023.

This visit, which is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the People’s National Army and the Brazilian Armed Forces, will also allow both parties to examine issues of common interest, the Algerian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

LAAD Defense & Security 2023 - International Defense and Security Fair - is the sector’s most important fair in Latin America. The show is restricted to military, law enforcement, authorities and defense and security professionals.

The Brazilian Ministry of Defense of Brazil and Creative Events Brazil invite Defense and Security authorities from various countries to LAAD, including: Ministers of Defense, Commanders of the Armed Forces, Ministers of Interior/Justice, as well as other high level authorities.

The Official Delegations are accompanied by assistants to assist them in visiting the exhibitor booths and to ensure compliance with the agenda.

In the last edition the program had 133 official delegations from 81 countries, with 445 official delegates. 2,503 meetings were held between delegations and exhibitors.
