The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) has signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Army General Staff in a strategic move aimed at enhancing coordination and integration between the country’s military institutions.

The KFF said in a press statement that the signing ceremony was held at the Force’s headquarters in the presence of KFF Chief of Staff Major General Talal Al-Roumi, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, as well as senior commanders and officers from both sides.

The statement noted that the protocol reflects a shared commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and operational alignment, in line with national interests. It aims to streamline procedures, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and build capabilities in accordance with established rules and regulations, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The agreement outlines several key areas of cooperation, including the organization of joint exercises, workshops, and training programs, in addition to field integration between teams, mutual logistical support, and collaboration in the areas of prevention, firefighting, search and rescue, shelter, and relief operations.

The KFF affirmed that this partnership seeks to raise the level of preparedness and professionalism among personnel, enabling both sides to effectively address security and humanitarian challenges.
