Kuwaiti Naval Delegation Visits Saudi Arabia to Boost Maritime Cooperation

A Kuwaiti military delegation led by Commander of the Naval Forces Rear Admiral Saif Al-Hamlan paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in the maritime domain.

According to a statement issued by the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army and carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the delegation held talks with Saudi Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili, during which both sides reviewed military relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed means of enhancing operational coordination and joint training between their respective Naval Forces.

Rear Admiral Al-Hamlan also met with Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Gharibi (photo). The meeting focused on boosting maritime security in the region through enhanced coordination, joint operations, and the development of future avenues of cooperation in the naval field, the statement added.
