The Saudi Ministry of Interior Development Program, King Fahd Security College, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) celebrated last week the graduation of the first batch of the Drones Training Program.
The event was attended by the Director-General of the King Fahd Security College, Major General Dr. Ali bin Abdulrahman Al-Duaij, CEO of the Ministry of Interior Development Program, Eng. Nabil bin Khalid Al-Dabal, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Vice President for Government Affairs at KAUST Sulaiman Al-Thunayan, and Director-General of KAUST Academy Professor Sultan Al-Barakati also attended the ceremony.
The graduates completed the first phase of the training plan, which comprised two parts; a professional course to prepare professional pilots who can obtain the international license to fly drones, and the second part included four specialized courses in security and surveillance, aerial videography, structure examination, surveying and mapping, which contributes to raising their efficiency and skill and reflects on the quality of the work entrusted to them.
