Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of the Interior, and United Kingdom Secretary of State for the Home Department Suella Braverman have held an official discussions session in London.
Prince Abdulaziz thanked the British Home Secretary for hosting the meeting, which reflected the common desire to boost the strategic and historical ties between the two friendly countries, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Prince stressed that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia values and appreciates the existing security cooperation, referring to the ongoing security coordination between the two countries’ Ministries of Interior.
During the session, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen and develop the courses of joint security cooperation, commending the level of strategic partnership between the two ministries and the positive results achieved during the past period.
The session saw the signing of several agreements in the security, development and training fields between the Ministry of the Interior of Saudi Arabia and the UK Home Department.
The session was attended by Prince Khaled bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, the Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Interior Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, and a number of officials from the two countries.
