Qatar, Kazakhstan Defence Ministers Sign Military Cooperation Agreement

H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received in Doha Tuesday, Ruslan Jagsylyqov, Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.

A Military cooperation agreement between the two countries was also signed (photo), Qatar’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Al Attiyah also accompanied Kazakhstan Minister in a visit to Al-Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, where the guest viewed the College’s facilities and the latest technology used in it. Al Attiyah also hosted a lunch gala in honour of the Kazakhstan Minister.

On Monday, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs also received Gursediin Saikhanbayar, Mongolian Minister of Defence.
