As part of the General Command of the Egyptian Armed Forces’ commitment to enhancing military cooperation and strengthening ties with friendly and brotherly nations, the Department of Military Attachés organized a visit for several accredited Arab and foreign military attachés in Egypt to the Egyptian Military Academy and a number of national development projects.
During their visit to the Academy, the delegation watched a documentary showcasing the Academy’s history, vision, and mission. They also toured various educational facilities, where they were introduced to the modern teaching methods and advanced technologies employed within the Academy’s educational system.
The program also included a visit to Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, where the Attachés witnessed some of the most prominent national and developmental mega-projects. These projects represent a significant civilizational leap and reinforce Egypt’s position on the global development map, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Additionally, the delegation visited the Suez Canal Authority, where they observed the sophisticated system managing the passage of ships and containers through one of the world’s most vital maritime routes. The visit included attendance at the signing ceremony of several strategic partnership agreements between the Suez Canal Authority and leading global companies aimed at enhancing the Canal's operational efficiency.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Military Attachés expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the Egyptian state across various sectors. They also praised the capabilities and professionalism of the Egyptian Armed Forces, emphasizing that such visits strengthen military relations and pave the way for expanded cooperation among nations.
