Lieutenant General Abdulla bin Hassan Al Noaimi, Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs, received newly graduated officers from military colleges and institutes to take the legal oath.

The Minister conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) to the graduates. He congratulated them on their results and commended their efforts and discipline throughout their military studies.

In line with the visions and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, the minister urged the graduates to put the knowledge and practical skills they had acquired into practice with dedication, while continuing to develop their academic and practical capabilities and hone their skills in various specialisations required by BDF combat and administrative units.

The Minister affirmed that the BDF continues to provide its personnel with opportunities for advanced education and training, wishing the graduates success in their academic and professional careers, and a future filled with achievements in the service of the Kingdom.

The legal oath-taking ceremony was attended by senior BDF officers, , Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs also received Tuesday Simon Martin CMG, the Chargé d’Affaires of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister welcomed the UK Chargé d’Affaires and commended the longstanding relations between Bahrain and the UK.
