Major General Mohamed Salah Benbicha, Secretary General of the Algerian Ministry of National Defence received in audience, Thursday 25th May 2023, at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters, Lieutenant General Luciano Portolano, Secretary General of Defence and Italian Director of Armaments, at the head of a high-level military and civilian delegation.

On this occasion, the two parties held bilateral discussions on fields of common interest, the Algerian Ministry of National Defence said in a brief statement.

The Director of Military Manufacturing and the Director of External Relations and Cooperation of the Ministry of National Defence, and members of the guest’s accompanying delegation, attended the meeting.

At the end, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts.
