This new venue has enabled the show to grow further - the last edition held 338 exhibitors and 6,200 trade visitors. MEBA 2012 will not only develop in size but will also include focused areas of business aviation, launching Helicopters@MEBA, BusinessAirports@MEBA and VIPinteriors@MEBA.
Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport is ideally located for those coming from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The new location offers a host of hotel options for exhibitors and visitors in the Jumeriah, Marina and Al Barsha areas of Dubai.
As one of the most significant aviation events in the Middle East, combined with the move to a new, bigger, smarter, location there is no surprise that 60% of the exhibition space has been sold and the floor plan is now finalized.
Michele Van Akelijen, Aerospace Director for F&E Aerospace, said: “We are preparing for the 5th edition of MEBA to be the biggest yet and given our new location we are excited about hosting the very first event at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. With such minimal travel times between popular hotel locations and our new venue, we foresee easy access for exhibitors and visitors alike, coming together at the region’s newest and biggest airport complex.”
