Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shariaan, visited last week the 25th Commando Brigade to review its operational duties, missions, and training programs designed to enhance the efficiency and combat readiness of its personnel.
In a press statement, Al-Shariaan emphasized the importance of continuous training and qualification to strengthen operational capabilities and ensure that army units are fully prepared to carry out their assigned tasks effectively and competently.
During the visit, he observed a field demonstration of urban combat exercises, featuring practical scenarios simulating diverse combat environments. The exercises aimed to improve coordination, precision, and field work methodologies.
Al-Shariaan commended the high level of organization and the advanced execution of the drills. He also toured an exhibition showcasing the brigade’s weapons and equipment, highlighting the ongoing development of the training and armament systems within the 25th Commando Brigade, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Meanwhile, Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Deputy Commander of the Turkish Gendarmerie General Command Lt-General Huseyin Kurtoglu held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss bilateral military cooperation.
A statement by the KNG said that Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud stressed the strong relations between the two sides and their keenness to exchange expertize.
