Kuwait’s Defense Minister Visits Ali Al-Sabah Military College

Kuwait’s Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah reaffirmed his commitment to providing full support for the development of the military training and education system, as well as enhancing operational efficiency.

The statement, issued by the Ministry of Defense following a field visit to Ali Al-Sabah Military College, noted that Sheikh Abdullah Ali was received by the Commandant of the College, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Turkait, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

Sheikh Abdullah Ali described the College as a leading and distinguished institution that plays a vital role in the preparation and qualification of officer cadets. During his visit, the Minister inspected the College’s facilities and classrooms, underscoring the importance of maintaining high-quality standards to provide a comprehensive educational environment for the cadets.

The Ali Al Sabah Military College is a project commissioned by the Ministry of Defense of Kuwait. The College includes an important complex of buildings inserted in an open desert area for 1,200 cadets, according to Gulf Consult.

The facilities include hall and theatre, military and academic studies buildings, dormitories, restaurants and clubs, gas station, battalion mock village, vehicle and general maintenance, infrastructure, sewerage treatment plant, water storage, extensive parade grounds, shooting range, football stadium, Olympic swimming pool and college boundary featuring guard towers.
