As part of ongoing field monitoring of training programs and the development of student skills, the President of the National Defense University for Military Studies, Lieutenant General Dr. Aqeel Mustafa Mahdi, visited the Command College.
He inspected the students of the 33rd Selection Formations Commanders Preparation Course and the 72nd-A Junior Officers’ Leadership Course. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the curriculum effectively, interacting with the teaching staff, and actively participating in discussions to achieve the desired academic objectives.
In the same context, the University President visited the Military College, observing the training of students in the 114th course/Imam Musa al-Kadhim Regiment (peace be upon him), and monitoring their preparation.
During the visit, he emphasized the importance of discipline, commitment, and raising the students’ professional standards, in line with the requirements for building leaders and developing competencies capable of shouldering national responsibility, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
In another development, the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, met in his office on Wednesday night with His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Mr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Zaman.
