Bahrain’s King, Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, Visits Royal Bahraini Air Force

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Armed Forces, visited Monday the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) to review operational readiness and capabilities.

Upon arrival, HM the King was received by Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council; Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Operations; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff; and Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, RBAF Commander, along with a number of Senior Officers.

During the visit, His Majesty the King inspected combat aircraft operated by the Bahrain Defence Force, which are among the most advanced of their kind in the world, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

HM the King expressed appreciation for the dedicated and valuable efforts of the RBAF servicemen, commending their combat readiness and high level of skill as they stand united in joint operations with their counterparts in air defence and various units of the Bahrain Defence Force in carrying out their national duty to defend the Kingdom, safeguard the security of its citizens, and protect its development process.

His Majesty affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain will remain steadfast in its approach grounded in wisdom, moderation, and the promotion of peace and cooperation, continuing with confidence to fulfil its national and humanitarian responsibilities while strengthening its relations with its Arab, regional, and international partners in ways that support the security and stability of the region.

His Majesty also praised the professionalism, discipline, and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by Bahrain Defence Force servicemen across their various posts, emphasisng that the Bahrain Defence Force will remain committed to its role in safeguarding security, stability, and development of the Kingdom.

HM the King addressed officers and servicemen of the RBAF and air defence units, expressing appreciation for their role in protecting Bahrain’s land, territorial waters, and airspace. His Majesty said that the Kingdom today stands more united and stronger than ever, with its people standing as one behind the flag of the nation.

His Majesty extended his greetings and appreciation to all officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel serving across various posts, wishing them continued success in their duties.

His Majesty also received a telephone call Monday from Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Field Marshal Munir affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its condemnation of the missile attack on Bahraini territory. He emphasised his country’s support for Bahrain in the measures undertaken to protect its sovereignty, security, and national interests.

His Majesty the King affirmed that Bahrain will remain steadfast in its approach based on wisdom, moderation, and the promotion of peace and cooperation with its Arab, regional, and international partners, in a manner that serves the security and stability of the region. He also expressed appreciation for the stance of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and for the solidarity and support conveyed by Field Marshal Munir.
