His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Armed Forces, met Friday with a number of Officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), in the presence of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief.

During the meeting, His Majesty praised the advanced level of preparedness and combat readiness demonstrated by BDF personnel, commending their high efficiency in carrying out their duties. 

HM King Hamad also lauded their unity and their close cooperation with fellow servicemen across all branches and units of the BDF, as well as with the Kingdom’s security authorities, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

His Majesty affirmed that ongoing development efforts across all branches of the BDF aim to further enhance readiness and efficiency in fulfilling their duty of safeguarding the nation and preserving the dignity of its citizens. HM the King noted that the BDF personnel have proven their competence in serving as a steadfast pillar of the nation and a strong line of defence, supported by the unity and cohesion that characterise the Bahraini society.

His Majesty concluded by wishing all personnel continued success in the performance of their national duties.

Earlier, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.

The meeting reviewed the cooperation and coordination between the BDF and the Ministry of Interior in all matters related to maintaining security and stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
