Under the patronage of Bahrain’s King His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the inauguration ceremony of the “Suqoor Hamad” facilities at the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) was held Monday.

Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and Major-General Pilot Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Commander of the RBAF, were present.

The event coincided with the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). 

Major-General Abdullah Rashid Al Tamimi, Director of Military Works, presented a briefing on the project.  The Chief of Staff then toured the facilities, reviewing various sections and equipment, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.\

Lt. General Al Nuaimi noted that, under the patronage of His Majesty the King and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, as well as the directives of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), the BDF continues to follow a structured and methodical approach to achieve advanced levels of development and modernisation, while enhancing its branches and units with modern administrative facilities.
