Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Commander of the United States Naval Forces Central Command (USNAVCENT) and Commander of the US Fifth Fleet Admiral James Malloy (photo) and his accompanying delegation, in presence of Defense Affairs Minister Lt-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and BDF Chief-of-Staff Lt-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.

The Commander-in-Chief praised the Bahrain-US friendship ties noting the steady progress of these ties in various arenas, especially the military coordination and defense cooperation, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Earlier, the BDF Commander-in-Chief also  received Ambassador of the Russian Federation Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Igor Kremnev, accompanied with Leonid Lavrineko, Russian Embassy’s Adviser, in the presence of Defense Affairs Minister Lt-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and BDF Chief-of-Staff Lt-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.

They reviewed the bilateral friendship and cooperation ties. The BDF Commander-in-Chief commended the increasingly growing deep-rooted ties between the two friendly countries and peoples in various fields.
