Åsa Thegström has been appointed new Senior Vice President and Head of Group Communication at defence and security company Saab. She takes up her position on November 1, 2013.

Åsa Thegström has many years of experience from working in Saab, currently holding a management position within Saab´s business area Dynamics. Previously she has been Head of Saab´s Commercial Aircraft Programs.

“Åsa Thegström will make a very positive contribution to develop Saab´s strategic communication. Åsas long experience from relations with our customers, will strengthen our communication activities, said Håkan Buskhe, Saab´s President and CEO.

As Head of Group Communication Åsa Thegström will be part of Saab´s Senior Management Team and will manage the Group Communication with approximately 30 employees.

I am looking forward to continue Saab´s work with the strategic communication efforts to strengthen the company's brand and thereby our business”, said Åsa Thegström.
