The DiSTI Corporation, the world’s leading provider of 3D virtual training solutions, announces a strategic partnership with HAVELSAN to jointly develop 3D virtual training solutions.
HAVELSAN, based in Ankara, Turkey, is a private company and a division of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. HAVELSAN specializes in systems integration in the areas of defense, aerospace and IT.
Due to the growing global demand for virtual training solutions as companies look for innovative ways to improve training their workforce; DiSTI is now expanding their global reach through a select number of strategic partnerships to develop new industry solutions. HAVELSAN and DiSTI will address the demand in timely and cost effective manner through the partnership.
HAVELSAN will work with DiSTI to build a joint HAVELSAN/DiSTI Virtual Training Center of Excellence in Ankara, Turkey. The center will deliver training and certification courses and to provide customers with a facility to conduct rapid demonstration development and prototyping.

We have worked with DiSTI products for many years in the development of our simulation products and recently delivered a program using DiSTI’s VE Studio for building a virtual training solution for the F-16 aircraft. Training and enablement professionals today need the flexibility to deliver content any time of day, around the world, using a variety of delivery platforms such as classroom desktops, mobile laptops or tablets. They have a need to use the latest immersive technology such as mixed, virtual or augmented reality via a cohesive development platform. DiSTI’s VE Studio uses a database-driven approach to develop and manage content and training procedures. It interfaces with commercial rendering engines such as Unity to provide flexible and robust virtual environments.
