Lockheed Martin has received $99 million in delivery orders for Sniper® Advanced Targeting Pods (ATP), spares and upgrades under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) foreign military sales contract.

The delivery orders support customers in Belgium, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands and Turkey. The U.S. Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin the ID/IQ contract in 2015 with a ceiling value of $485 million. It is valid through March 2018.

“Using the ID/IQ, our foreign military sales customers can choose from a selection of pre-priced Sniper ATP products that address their unique needs,” said Ken Fuhr, Fixed-Wing Program Director at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

“As a result, the acquisition timeline is reduced from months to weeks, ensuring we can quickly respond to our customers and support targeting operations worldwide,” he added.

Sniper ATP detects, identifies, automatically tracks and laser designates small tactical targets at long ranges. It also supports employment of all laser- and GPS-guided weapons against multiple fixed and moving targets. Sniper ATP is interoperable across multiple platforms, including U.S. Air Force and multinational F-2, F-15, F-16, F-18, A-10, B-1 and B-52 aircraft.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 125,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
