Atech, an Embraer Group company, is expanding its international presence in Europe with the opening of a new office in Lisbon, Portugal. This expansion, made in cooperation with Embraer Defense Europe, is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its business objectives abroad, particularly in the Defense and Security sectors, as well as in Air Traffic Management.

The company already regularly participates in Locked Shields, an annual cyber defense exercise organized by NATO’s Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) and intends to further expand its presence in Europe by establishing a physical space next to Embraer Europe Defense.

This will be Atech’s first office outside of Brazil, although the technologies developed by the company are already present in several countries in Asia and Latin America, as well as in Brazil.

Following international standards, Atech is responsible for developing technological solutions for Brazil’s Aerospace Defense System (SIDABRA) and the Airspace Control System (SISCEAB), the latter recognized by ICAO as a global benchmark. Building on these systems, Atech has developed the ARKHE defense product family and the MAKRON airspace control product family, offering technology solutions for both civil and military organizations in Brazil and abroad, exporting technology and generating foreign revenue for the country.
