Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the national defense and security champion, a PIF company, concluded a successful participation at the third edition of World Defense Show 2026, marking a defining phase in the Kingdom’s defense industrial transformation.
Through the signing of 25 strategic agreements, the launch of new specialized national champions, and the advancement of indigenous industrial programs, SAMI reinforced its role as the central industrial enabler of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign defense capabilities in alignment with Vision 2030.
SAMI Group’s pavilion welcomed the ministers, senior officials, and industry leaders from within the Kingdom and around the world. The pavilion recorded strong engagement throughout the five-day event and featured 150 team members and exhibitors across its platforms, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s growing global standing as a competitive defense industrial hub and reflecting international confidence in the Kingdom’s transformation journey.
Spanning six dedicated locations across more than 3,000 square meters, SAMI showcased over 60 integrated national products and capabilities across aerospace, land systems, advanced electronics, autonomous systems, ammunition, and supply chain development.
SAMI’s participation was further reinforced through the signing of 25 strategic agreements across its portfolio companies, supporting technology transfer, supplier development, and the growth of a resilient, Saudi-led defense ecosystem. These agreements further expanded its global and local partnership network while accelerating technology transfer and the localization of advanced industrial capabilities.
During the five-day event, key national milestones were inaugurated, including SAMI Group’s new specialized companies, SAMI Land Company and SAMI Autonomous Company, followed by the launch of the SAMI Land Industrial Complex, alongside the introduction of the indigenous HEET Program and the unveil of SAMI Local Content Program (RUKN), the groups flagship supply chain program. Together, these initiatives mark a significant step forward in establishing a fully integrated, agile, and nationally driven defense industrial model.
Throughout World Defense Show 2026, SAMI’s executive leadership and subject-matter experts participated in 11 high-level panel discussions as part of the Content Theater, in addition to hosting more than 15 specialized sessions at its pavilion. This active engagement reflects SAMI’s expanding influence in shaping the future of advanced defense systems, industrial technologies, and emerging capabilities globally.
As it concludes its participation at World Defense Show 2026, SAMI Group reaffirms its position as a strategic national enabler of the defense and security sector and as a driving force behind the Kingdom’s next phase of industrial and technological advancement, supporting Vision 2030 ambitions to localize defense spending and build a sustainable, globally competitive defense industrial base.
