Barzan Holdings has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BAE Systems, a provider of some of the world’s most advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions, to explore collaboration in future defence technologies.
The MoU was signed at DIMDEX 2026 which took place from 19 to 22 January at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
The MoU will see both companies seek to bring their collective expertise to support Qatar’s long-term security and prosperity.
Adam Watson, Regional Managing Director for the Middle East, Türkiye and North Africa, BAE Systems, commented: “The MoU covers multiple areas of potential technology collaboration, including autonomous systems, energetics and counter uncrewed air systems (C-UAS) solutions.”
