Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Wednesday at his office in Jeddah with Hungarian counterpart Kristَf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.

During the meeting, the Defense Ministers discussed relations between Saudi Arabia and Hungary, especially in defense fields, and addressed regional and international developments alongside efforts made to address them.

Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf and several officials from both countries attended the meeting, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said in a brief statement.

In another development, Director General of Saudi Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj led the Ministry of Interior delegation participating in the 58th Executive Council meetings and the Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), held in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meetings addressed key topics related to the organization’s work and discussed areas of mutual interest.
