Assistant Chief of Staff for Armament and Equipment in the Kuwaiti Army Brigadier General Sheikh Khalifa Al-Sabah, met in Amman on Monday with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Army Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, to discuss coordination between the two countries’ defense industries, and to strengthen their strategic military partnership.
Sheikh Khalifa Al-Sabah told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) following the meeting that the bilateral relations between the two countries are strong and based on shared visions and future aspirations established by the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan.
He confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces have witnessed significant modernization and development across various fields, stressing the importance of enhancing the strategic partnership between the two militaries, particularly in the areas of armament and equipment.
The visit included a tour of the Jadara Equipment & Defense Systems Company to review drone manufacturing, as well as the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center. Sheikh Khalifa also witnessed a live-fire exercise.
The meeting was attended by several Senior Officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Kuwaiti Military Attaché, Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Eyada.
