Bahrain and the UAE signed a security co-operation agreement on the sidelines of the 12th GCC Interior Ministers’ consultative meeting in Abu Dhabi earlier this week.

The deal was signed by Bahrain Minister of Interior, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and UAE Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The GCC Interior Ministers, meanwhile, voiced concern over Iran’s blatant interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
