The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, has commenced the evaluation and acceptance procedures for individuals seeking to join military service as pilot and air officer cadets.
Applicants will undergo several evaluation stages in line with RAFO's established recruitment procedures to reach the final acceptance phase. The RAFO is dedicating all its expertise and capabilities to provide the necessary administrative and technical support to facilitate the enrollment process, allowing qualified individuals to join the ranks of national honor and duty.
These dedicated efforts by the Sultan’s Armed Forces aim to absorb citizens, in accordance with established plans and programs for employing Omanis.
The goal is to provide the branches of the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments within the Ministry of Defence with competent national cadres, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
In another development, the Royal Navy of Oman Vessel (RNOV) “Shabab Oman II” departed the port of Bremerhaven in the Federal Republic of Germany Sunday, setting a course for the port of Ijmuiden in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
On 14 August, the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO’s) Shabab Oman II vessel has docked at the port of Bremerhaven as part of its international voyage, Glories of the Seas 2025.
Upon its arrival, the ship was welcomed by Maitha Saif Al Mahrouqi, Ambassador of Oman to the Germany.
While sailing towards the Netherlands, RNOV “Shabab Oman II” will participate in the SAIL Amsterdam festival as part of its seventh international voyage, “Glories of the Seas 2025.”
