On December 9 & 10, 2012, INEGMA will launch The Gulf International Cyber Security Summit (GICS) – an unprecedented gathering of senior international decision-makers and subject matter experts driving leadership in Cyber Security.

GICS will feature a high level conference and niche exhibition over two days under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) in collaboration with a host of official government partners, and take place at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Business Convention Center.

GICS has been designed to support efforts towards positioning the UAE as a regional leader in International and Communications Technology (ICT) and Cyber Security

The GICS conference will feature high level briefings by senior officials and subject matter experts from around the world tackling core issues in cyber security by looking at the latest lessons learned through a series of case studies and expert insights. GICS will explore approaches to responding coherently and reducing vulnerabilities to cyber security challenges by assessing emerging trends in cyber threats, and insights into organizing nationally to meet those challenges with a key focus on developing partnerships with the private sector in support of these.

Running alongside the conference, a focused exhibition at GICS will bring together leading industry partners to showcase their capabilities and niche solutions through a series of networking sessions spread out over two days, supporting vital dialogue between the public and private sectors so that decision-makers remain prepared for developments that occur rapidly and unexpectedly with profound operational implications.
