The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) announced the signing of a contract to implement a project aimed at developing military databases using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, in cooperation with the Middle East Telecommunications Company (METCO).
In a press statement, the KNG said the signing ceremony was held in the presence of Assistant Chief for Financial Affairs and Resource Management Major General Riyad Al-Tawari, along with senior Commanders and officials from resource management, information systems and project preparation departments.
Al-Tawari said the project comes in line with directives of the National Guard leadership and the objectives of its Strategic Plan 2030, which seeks to advance digital transformation and enhance operational efficiency and readiness.
He added that the initiative represents a qualitative shift for the KNG, supporting both military and administrative operations through advanced data analysis and risk prediction tools.
The system is expected to improve the speed and accuracy of decision-making, while automating procedures and strengthening overall institutional performance. The executing company said the project will utilize advanced AI solutions in accordance with the highest standards of information security and data governance.
Implementation will be carried out in phases, including planning, development and operation, to ensure full system integration and optimal efficiency.
