Kuwait’s Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraian visited the Military Police Command, where he was received by Commander Brigadier General Ghanem Al-Ghanem and Senior Officers.

In a press statement, the Army Chief of Staff said he was briefed on the tasks and responsibilities of the Military Police Command and its vital role in maintaining military discipline across army units, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The statement added that Lieutenant General Al-Shuraian observed a field demonstration by Military Police forces, which included riot control procedures and a practical display of combat skills, highlighting the unit’s readiness to protect dignitaries and ensure secure movements.

Al-Shuraian praised the Military Police members as role models of discipline and commitment, emphasizing that their presence is key to the successful execution of duties across various army units. He commended their devotion and distinguished performance, stressing the importance of maintaining readiness and enhancing efficiency through continuous training and joint exercises.

He wished all personnel continued success in serving the homeland under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The exercise was attended by the Assistant Commander of the Amiri Guard, Major General Adel Al-Kandari; Commander of the Saleh Al-Mohammad Mechanized/94 Brigade, Brigadier General Saleh Al-Thalab; and Commander of the Commando Brigade, Colonel Nasser Al-Adwani.
