Chairman of the Jordanian Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday inaugurated the Black Iris Aviation company building at the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command.
Upon his arrival, Huneiti was received by the RJAF Commander and the company's Director General, according to a Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) statement.
In the presence of several high-ranking JAF Officers, Huneiti was briefed by the company’s Director-General Daniel Janakat on the tasks, duties and services provided by the company in the field of private aviation.
The briefing also outlined future plans aimed at developing its operational and technical capabilities in accordance with the highest approved standards in the aviation sector.
The Army Chief also listened to a briefing, attended by Royal Jordanian CEO Samer Majali, regarding cooperation mechanisms in private aviation and prospects for future partnerships to expand the company’s operations.
Huneiti stressed the importance of continuously developing the military and auxiliary civil aviation systems to enhance operational efficiency and boost readiness.
He noted that JAF is moving forward with modernisation and development plans to keep pace with rapid advancements and changes across various fields.
Huneiti toured the facility, inspecting the technical and administrative equipment as well as the standard of services offered to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe aviation services in accordance with the highest professional standards.
He commended the efforts of the company’s personnel, stressing that the inauguration of the building represents a qualitative addition that supports the aviation sector and enhances its capabilities, thereby serving the national interest and reflecting the advanced level achieved by JAF in modernisation and development.
