Bahrain Defence Force Holds Falcon Eye/3 Military Drill

The Falcon Eye/3 military drill was held under the patronage of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

The Commander-in-Chief listened to a briefing delivered by Brigadier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the exercise commander. Major Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa then presented an overview of the exercise stages, followed by operational orders issued by a number of participating officers.

The Commander-in-Chief commended the conduct of the exercise phases, which were carried out with a high level of combat professionalism, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

He noted that the exercise demonstrated advanced planning and precise execution, achieving its objectives through effective coordination and synergy among the participating forces. These efforts contribute to strengthening military competence and enhancing combat readiness in line with structured training and qualification programmes aimed at developing expertise and improving performance.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasised that, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, the BDF continues to advance its realistic training plans across all branches and units, grounded in the highest military standards.

The Commander-in-Chief expressed pride in the distinguished performance of the participants from various BDF branches and units in the Falcon Eye/3 drill and praised their dedication and determination to fulfil their duties to the highest standards.

The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) also held a graduation ceremony for a specialised military course for officers.

Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics, was present. He presented certificates to the graduates and awards of recognition to the top-performing participants.

The course included officers from the Ministry of Interior as well as officers from the armed forces of the State of Kuwait.
