His Highness Brigadier Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Commander of Bahrain’s Royal Guard, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International Defense Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC) received the award of the best exhibition in the Middle East won by BIDEC 2017.

This came during HH Sheikh Nasser’s meeting with Thomas Gaunt, Director of Events at the Bahrain International Defense Exhibition and Conference, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The 2018 Middle East Awards jury included a group of judges from outside the Middle East. The Middle East Special Events event was organized by The Special Events magazine, the world’s largest professional magazine.

BIDEC reported a great success, with 9,120 visitors from 49 countries. The 180 exhibitors participated in the exhibition held on October 16-18 2017 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The second edition of BIDEC will be organized by Clarion Events, the world’s largest organizer of defense and security events, on October 28-30, 2019.
