Bahrain Royal Guard Special Force Commander Attends Graduation Ceremony

Commander of Bahrain’s Royal Guard Special Force Major Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended a graduation ceremony of a specialized counter-terrorism security session which was organized by the Interior Ministry under the patronage of Public Security Chief Major General Taraq bin Hassan Al Hassan.

A number of officers and commissioned officers from the Royal Guard and the National Guard participated in the session, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).


The Royal Guard Special Force Commander affirmed that combating terrorism is a principal responsibility in military and security work. He stressed that security of Bahrain deserves a lot of sacrifice, thanking Interior Minister Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his directives to the relevant security bodies to ensure success of the session.


Major Sheikh Khalid honored the top achievers and presented the graduates with their certificates. He congratulated them on their achievement, thanking the organizers of the session for achieving set up goals and wishing all every success.

On 10 July 2017, under the Patronage of Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief, a celebration to mark the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Royal Guard Special Force was held in Manama.

The event was then attended by HH Brigadier General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard, HH Major Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Forces, Lt-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Defense Affairs Minister and Lt. General Diab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief-of-Staff of BDF.
