A hi-tech Maritime Centre with a new radar system that will keep round-the-clock vigil of Bahrain’s territorial waters was inaugurated by Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa this past week.

The Minister pledged to continue with modernization of security services to protect citizens and praised the Coastguard for effectively monitoring the Kingdom’s marine borders and territorial waters.
