Mark Kula has been named Vice President of Tactical Airborne Systems for Raytheon Company's (NYSE: RTN) Space and Airborne Systems business, with headquarters in El Segundo, California.

Kula joins Raytheon with responsibility for TAS program and financial performance, new business capture, and strategic vision, planning and execution. TAS focuses on radar, electronic warfare systems and airborne processors. It has locations in El Segundo, California; Goleta, California; Forest, Missouri; and Plano, Texas.

"Mark brings an extensive knowledge of defense technology and information systems to Raytheon," said Rick Yuse, President, Space and Airborne Systems. "His expertise and experience will ensure the highest level of support continues for our military customers worldwide."

During his career, Kula has held a variety of leadership positions in support of ground-based and airborne radars, integrated air defense systems, and intelligence collection and processing systems. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has completed the General Manager Program at Harvard Business School and Executive Marketing Program at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Along with Kula's appointment as TAS Vice President, Tom Bradley has been named TAS Deputy. Bradley has 30 years' experience with Raytheon and will be responsible for SAS' broader electronic warfare business and secure processing programs and pursuits.
