Marc Chassillan is appointed Director of Communication of the Nexter Group.
Marc Chassillan, 48, is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs des Etudes et Techniques d'Armement (ENSIETA), France’s leading military engineering school.
He started in 1986 in the AMX-APX design office in the Mobility division, where he worked in particular on the Leclerc MBT and its engineering and repair-recovery derivatives, the Vextra demonstrator and the pre-project design of what would later become the VBCI armoured infantry combat vehicle.
In 1992 he joined Giat Industries Leclerc project management as ARV/DCL recovery vehicle project manager.
After working in various positions in export sales, marketing and innovation in Leclerc project management and in the Engineering department, in 2001 he moved to the Commercial and International Affairs directorate, initially as Northern and Central Europe VP and later as Middle East-Africa-Türkiye VP.
Most recently, in September 2008 he became head of the Advanced Studies & Technologies department of Nexter Systems.
