Česká zbrojovka a.s. (CZ) took part at the 14th Defence Services Asia (DSA 2014) Exhibition & Conference which was held in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur this past week (14-17 April)
CZ followed on its previous success in Malaysia with the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 submachine gun and at this important international trade fair introduced its brand new product for this year, i.e. the CZ P-09 pistol with its accompanying programme called Guardian Angel.
This year CZ signed a contract for supply of 400 units of the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 submachine guns designed for the Royal Police of Malaysia.
The Police President of Malaysia Mr. Tan Sri Dato` Khalid Bin Abu Bakar personally came to the CZ Stand to view the weapon, which will be received by his troops in the coming weeks.
At the same time the Police President of Malaysia with undisguised interest listened to the presentation of the new CZ P-09 pistol. His interest was met with great enthusiasm of the local media. According to the Kosmo newspaper, the Police plans to order another 3000 pieces.
The popularity of the CZ brand weapons attracted other eminent and distinguished figures to the CZ stand, including the Minister of Defence of Malaysia Mr. YB Dato` Sri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein and the Commander of the Special Military Forces, who invited CZ to make presentation at the Forces training camp to be held at the second half of this year.Hu
