Elettronica S.p.A. (ELT) and Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG (Rohde & Schwarz) have signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement aimed to explore potential business opportunities in the field of electronic warfare and defence technologies.

The agreement establishes a structured basis enabling the companies to jointly evaluate and pursue future selected commercial opportunities across multiple operational domain including land, airborne, space, cyber and, in continuity to the running agreement, naval.

The agreement brings together two companies with highly complementary capabilities in electromagnetic spectrum operations, aerospace, defense electronics, and complex system integration to address future European and International prospects.

“This agreement represents an important step in strengthening our international cooperation and in enhancing our ability to respond to increasingly complex and evolving procurement and commercial requirements,” said Paolo Izzo, SVP Global Sales & Business Development Elettronica spa.

“With Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader with highly complementary capabilities, we can combine our respective strengths to offer more competitive solutions across the electromagnetic spectrum in today’s defence landscape,” he added.

The agreement defines a general framework for cooperation, including principles for evaluating projects, aligning technical and commercial approaches, and determining potential workshare based on the distinct technological strengths of each company. Any specific collaboration will be governed by separate project agreements.
